Hi there. I'm Wang Xi, born and been raised up in China. I speak Chinese and English.
I'm a gemologist. My job was to identify whether a gemstone or diamond is a natural one or its artifical product. In any case it's a natural one, further tests must be done to make sure whether any treatment has been applied to the stone or not, because usually on the market an artificially treated stone is of less value than an untreated one with same qualities.
But now I don't do identification work at all. I'm working as a freelance trader specialized in rough gems and diamonds.
I also do jewelry design myself but I'm not very good at freehand sketching so it is very difficult for me to draft a sketch design on paper. I use computer instead, nice and easy : )
I love traveling too. I would love to go to different places domestically or overseas at leisure every now and then. But when I'm home I usually relax by drinking a pot of black tea while listening to music, surfing on the internet or chatting with friends.
